Hi guys! So in my last post I mentioned that I was going to layer a duo-chrome polish atop the color I had on (China Glaze "Let's Groove"). Well today I have that for you, and then some! First, I applied Hits Mari Moon in the color "Cutie Pie". This polish shifts from teal to magenta. The polish itself is somewhat sheer, and putting it over a dark base really helps all the colors shine through.
After that, I decided I wanted to add some holo-mazingness! A lovely girl named Jennifer messaged me saying she saw I was looking for Sally Hansen Prisms, and said she had a "Purple Diamond" she would swap! I was SO EXCITED! PURPLE HOLO?! Yes please!! Jennifer has a facebook nail page you can check out: JensNailFiles. I received the polish in the mail today and it is STUNNING. I put this delicious morsel right on top, and it was pure magic! I love that you can still see the duo-chrome color shift underneath, depending on how the light hits it!

ReplyDeleteI think OPI DS Original is a really good alternative to Purple Diamond... so if you happen to have that one, you're half way there! Although I think you can layer any holographic polish on top and it would look equally as cool!
